About Face

About Face is a support organisation (and registered charity) for people who have at any stage been diagnosed with cancer of the head and neck. We provide one to one and group support at our About Face Centre opposite Poole Hospital and by arrangement in other places. There is a 'Drop in' on Tuesdays and Thursdays 10am to 4pm.

Brain Tumour Support Group - Dorset and Hampshire

The group is open to anyone who has been affected by a brain tumour, whether you are a patient, a family member, a friend or a carer.

The Living Tree

We are a self-help support group for people who have experienced cancer and for their families/carers. Our group is based in Bridport and is open to any cancer patients from West Dorset, East Devon and South Somerset. Come and join us at the Friends Meeting House on Friday afternoons between 2pm and 4:30pm.

Wessex Cancer Trust - Bournemouth Cancer Support

The Bournemouth Cancer Support Centre is open Tuesday to Thursday 10am to 4pm and we offer befriending, counselling, reflexology, aromatherapy and information services.

West Dorset Breast Cancer Support Group

We have five branches across Dorset. We are a very friendly, welcoming group providing support and information. Guest speakers give talks on feel good and associated topics. We provide telephone support in co-operation with health care professionals. The breast care nurses are closely involved with our group.
