Bournemouth Blind Society Befriending

Bournemouth Blind Society offers a befriending service to those with a visual impairment who may feel isolated at home.

Befrienders can help in many ways such as:

  • chatting and providing companionship
  • reading mail, magazines, newspapers or other documents
  • writing letters, making phone calls
  • accompanying members on short walks

A telephone befriending service is available.
