There is a range of support available if you have experienced a bereavement, including emotional support from charities, faith groups and healthcare organisations, and practical support from local authorities and funeral directors.

That's where Dorset Open Door, a partnership between charities, health and care organisations can help.  If you aren't sure where to go to get the best bereavement support, Dorset Open Door can help with finding support from the right organisation.

The partnership is made up of Dorset HealthCare, Dorset Mental Health Forum, NHS Dorset Clinical Commissioning Group, Cruse Bereavement Care, Mosaic - Supporting Bereaved Children, Dorset Mind, Rethink Carers Support Dorset, Dorset Race Equality Council, Dorset Community Action, Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Community Action Network and the Douch Family.
