SEDCAT (South East Dorset Community Accessible Transport) - BAT Bus

SEDCAT has two fully accessible mini buses which operate within the Bournemouth Borough postcode areas BH1 - BH11. This is a door to door morning shopping service to help the elderly, and those not able to use public transport, access local services.

To encourage local people to get out and about, make friends and feel part of the world again, the BAT Bus takes members out to places of local interest on afternoon and full day outings.

An annual membership fee of £10 will register people with the scheme. Each morning shopping trip costs £5 return. Afternoon outings cost £5.50 and full day outings cost £9. Many of the outings visit pubs where members have the opportunity of going out for lunch together. A list of outings is sent out to members with a quarterly newsletter.

Transport days are every Wednesday afternoon and alternative Saturdays.
